Through confessional lyrics and symbolic wordplay, Lian documents the various events and people in his life with the aim of never forgetting how it feels to love, change, rejoice, and despair.

In a way, Tiger Really is a time capsule of emotions, expressed with a surprising mix of influences from Jazz, emo, punk and indie rock. This strange combination of genres creates a melancholic yet energetic sound that seeks to give listeners a peek into a moment of time, and deliver a very specific snapshot of feelings, frozen in song.
